Paul Bailey and the Baileyworks Group have done many projects for me over the years; all executed well; all completed in reasonable time and within budget. In 1994, Paul helped with a number of small projects including a small kitchen/workspace remodel on a contemporary home in Kensington. In 1997, BWG remodeled a kitchen and two bathrooms on a 100 year-old Berkeley traditional, a project that encountered many unforeseen obstacles, all of which were overcome to create a solid, functional multi-tenant living space. In 1999, Paul also built a custom home theater from a raw attic space in the Oakland Hills that still enjoys good use today. Paul's strengths as a contractor are his work ethic -- he works hands-on and hard on every project, his integrity -- he never cuts corners to shave costs, his communication -- he's very thorough and thoughtful, and his design/build skills -- he can create and adapt on the fly and solve problems intelligently. I've used Paul's services a number of times over the years and I plan on hiring him again should a need or project arise.
