Rockridge Remodel

Rockridge District, Oakland

We were contacted by a young couple who had purchased their first house and were very interested in a remodel for their bath and kitchen.

The house itself was a tidy little Craftsman bungalow located in Oakland's Rockridge district. The exterior had been lovingly restored and the couple had put much time and energy into the new landscaping. It was time to spruce up the inside.

We discussed several options, including converting the back porch into a master bath and dressing room. In the end, we agreed on rennovating the existing bath, removing an extra doorway and installing new flooring in the bath, kitchen and large central hall.

Following are photos and narrative describing the various stages of the project and a listing of supplies and resources.
