This dressed-up, 5 bedroom, 2 storey Craftsman was in dire need of repair.
As you can see from the Demo Plan (1), the existing floor plan was cluttered and did not lend itself to group living (or cooking). To accommodate a number of graduate students, it called for opening up several walls in the kitchen and bath on the first floor. The Construction Plan (2) shows plans for new walls and built-in cabinets.
Here you can see placement details for the new fixtures and a 6"x12"x16' beam specified by our engineer to replace the load-bearing walls we would be taking down during the remodel process.
